There are two public boat basins and a public boat launching ramp in the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey:
- Alpine Boat Basin is operated by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
- Englewood Boat Basin is operated by a concessionaire.
- Hazard’s Ramp is a public boat launching ramp for trailered boats and watercraft less than 24 feet long and for car-top craft.
See Boating & Paddling to learn more about boating in the park, including for smaller craft such as kayaks and canoes.
All boaters are required to comply with New Jersey boating laws and regulations, whether they are tenants of the basins, using the fuel docks, or using Hazard’s Ramp. This includes but is not limited to proper registration of the boat and trailer, possession of a boating safety certificate, and operation and outfitting of all vessels in accordance with applicable regulations.
