The
NJ Section has two public boat basins,
Englewood Boat
Basin and
Alpine Boat Basin, with a combined capacity
of 254 slips.
The
Englewood Boat
Basin is run under a lease agreement with Monte’s Marina Services,
LLC. For additional information on slip rental and winter storage availability

For
Alpine Boat Basin, which is run
by the Park, the rental season for slips is May 1 through October 31. Applications
and payment for renewal are due by March 1 of each year. Slip
assignments are made by mid-March.
New prospective tenants desiring a slip at Alpine Boat
Basin need to complete an application form, provide a deposit, and request to
be placed on the waiting list. Click

Both
boat basins have fuel docks and showers, and transient slips are available on a nightly basis
during the season. (Click here
for gas dock hours.) Winter storage is not available at
Alpine Boat Basin.

Boat
Launching
Trailer-towed, registered
boats under 24 feet in length, including jet skis, can be launched at
Hazard's Launching Ramp (see below) beneath the George Washington Bridge for
a $10 fee payable at the entrance booth to Ross Dock. Season passes are also

boats under 24 feet in length, jet skis, and for
launch of car-top boats (canoes and kayaks).
Hours and Fees
Grounds are
open year-round, daylight hours. The access road
may be closed
November
through March (foot access
only). A $10 fee
is charged to launch boats (a

Vehicles without trailers are not permitted in the
Hazard's parking area, unless being used for car-top launch.

Trailers must use the
southern park entrance, off River Road at the Fort
Lee-Edgewater border.

The Port
Authority maintains a security booth on the road to Hazard's—please be sure
to bring a valid form of photo identification
with you.

Car-Top
Boats (canoe
and kayak) can be launched at the beaches at the northern ends of the
Englewood
Picnic Area and the
Alpine
Picnic Area. Normal
parking fees apply, and boaters must be able to carry their boats and equipment from the
parking areas to the launch areas. Car-top boats may also be launched at
Hazard's Launching Ramp beneath the George Washington Bridge for
a $10 fee payable at the entrance booth to Ross Dock. Season passes are also
