Alpine Approach Road south of Park Headquarters is CLOSED TO ALL USE from Monday, February 27, for approx. 6–8 weeks for major road reconstruction.
Due to hazardous conditions, this closure will be strictly enforced. Violators are subject to summonses.

Personal use photography is allowed throughout the park without a permit, providing that it is during normal park hours, the area is not closed, and the patrons are complying with park regulations.
Permits are required for all non-personal use photography (moving or still photos), including commercial or publicity photography and student projects.
Apply for a photography or filming permit in advance by calling 201-768-1360.

Small-scale Commercial: $600/day.
Large-scale Commercial: $1,200/day.
Please inquire for other rates — additional fees may apply depending on scale and complexity of event (e.g., a security deposit for large productions, etc.).
