Interstate Parkway

Completed in 1958, the Parkway provides a scenic
42-mile ride
from the George Washington Bridge to Bear Mountain.
Three lookouts in the
NJ Section offer spectacular views
of the Palisades, the Hudson River, and the New York skyline:
Access to the Parkway is limited to passenger cars and
motorcycles. Commercial vehicles and cars pulling trailers are prohibited on the Parkway. Buses must
have a permit.
