Henry Hudson Drive is a scenic roadway that follows the Hudson River for 7 miles in the park, providing access to our riverfront picnic areas and boat basins. It is open daylight hours for bicycles, cars, and motorcycles.
Old Route 9W, closed to motor vehicle traffic, provides access for bicycles and pedestrians to State Line Lookout. It is open daylight hours.
Palisades Interstate Parkway is a scenic 42-mile highway from the George Washington Bridge to the Bear Mountain Bridge. About 11 miles of the Parkway are in New Jersey, open 24 hours to cars and motorcycles only. There are three scenic overlooks on the Parkway in New Jersey.
The Palisades Interstate Parkway and Henry Hudson Drive have been designated as the “Palisades Scenic Byway.”
