Rachel’s Rangers”

These summertime hiking adventures for children with the Kearney House staff are held on Tuesday mornings in August. Each hike meets at 10 am at a different place in the park and covers about 3 mi. in 2 hr. over relatively easy trails. For children ages five and up. Check our calendar for meeting places.

Retreat Weekend:
The Times that Try Men's Souls

This commemoration of the Continental Army’s 1776 strategic retreat across the Jerseys is held each year at Fort Lee Historic Park on the weekend closest to the historic date of November 20.

Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern
In which our guests participate in the re-creation of a 19th-century Hudson River tavern at the Kearney House. Held on weekday evenings from 7:30–10 pm, the fireside programs feature light food & drink, songs & tall tales—in an authentic candlelit setting.

Fall 2010 Punch & Pie dates: Wednesday evenings, October 13, 20, and 27. $18 per guest per evening, reservations and pre-payment required: 201 768-1360 ext. 108 / kearney@njpalisades.org (please specify evening and number in party). Initial reservation will be held for 1 week pending receipt of payment. Check should be made to PIPC and mailed to PIPC, Box 155, Alpine, NJ 07620, attn: Kearney House. (Sorry, we cannot take credit card reservations.)
