"Rachel's Rangers"

bullet

Summertime hiking adventures for children with the Kearney House staff. Held on Tuesday mornings in August, each hike meets at 10 am and covers about 3 miles in 2 hours over relatively easy trails. For children ages five and up. Check our calendar for meeting places.

Retreat Weekend: "The Times That Try Men's Souls"

This commemoration of the fall of and retreat from Fort Lee is held each year at Fort Lee Historic Park on the weekend closest to the actual date of November 20.

"Mad about Hawks"

Usually the first weekend in October, this event features live birds of prey with Jonathan Wood & the Raptor Project and exhibits by area nature centers at State Line Lookout.

"Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern"

bullet

During which guests participate in the re-creation of a nineteenth-century Hudson River tavern at the Kearney House, held several evenings in the spring and fall. Usually held on weekday evenings from 7:30–10, the program features food & drink, songs & tall tales, all set in an authentic candlelit environment.
