Rachel’s Rangers”

These summertime hiking adventures for children with the Trail Crew & the Kearney House staff are held on Tuesday mornings in August. Each hike meets at 10 am at a different place in the park and covers about 3 mi. in 2 hr. over relatively easy trails. For children ages five and up. Check our calendar for meeting places.

Mad about Hawks”

Usually held on the first weekend in October, this event features live birds of prey with Jonathan Wood & the Raptor Project and exhibits by area nature centers at State Line Lookout. With the Nature Program Cooperative.

Retreat Weekend:
The Times that Try Men's Souls

This commemoration of the Continental Army’s strategic retreat from Fort Lee is held each year at Fort Lee Historic Park on the weekend closest to the historic date of November 20.

Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern
G
uests participate in the re-creation of a nineteenth-century Hudson River tavern at the Kearney House, several evenings in the spring and fall. Usually held on weekdays from 7:30–10 pm, the program features food & drink, songs & tall tales—all taking place in an authentic candlelit setting.
