Our thanks to all of the many individuals and groups who have pitched in and helped out in the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey over the years!
Litter Clean-Ups
Our most popular volunteer option, litter clean-ups take place primarily at the Ross Dock and Englewood Picnic Areas on Mondays from 9:30am to 12:30pm from Mid-April to Mid-November. This is ideal for corporate and school groups. If your group is interested in such a project, please complete the volunteer application and send it to: volunteer@njpalisades.org
Group Projects
We will try to accommodate organized groups that wish to perform a service project to help improve a park area. If your group is interested in such a project, please complete the volunteer application and send an email to: volunteer@njpalisades.org.
Trail Work
Please complete the volunteer application if you or your group are interested in assisting the Palisades Interstate Park Commission Trail Crew with removal of trail debris, plantings or trail maintenance. You may also reach out to our trail partners listed below:
Community Service & Scout Badges
We will sometimes accept project proposals for Scout badges (e.g., Eagle or Gold awards). Candidates should present a detailed proposal to Sandra Kimbro at: skimbro@njpalisades.org
